   Madame "Pistil"

 

Madame "Pistil" was one of the concubines of Meng Chang, the Emperor of Later Shu (934–965), one of the Ten Kingdoms located in the Sichuan basin. Madame "Pistil" had worked as a singer before she became the concubine of the emperor. She was well-versed in the GongCi Poetry.

Madame "Pistil" became one of the concubines of Zhao Kuangyin, Emperor Taizu of the Song Dynasty, after Meng Chang surrendered to the emperor of the Song Dynasty. She then offended Song Taizu's brother and was killed due to political conflicts.
