As of Jan. 31, 2011, 29-year-old Li Na is ranked the No. 7 tennis player in the world according to the WTA singles rankings, becoming the highest ranked female Chinese tennis player. She has won four WTA and nineteen ITF titles.

From 1999 to 2004, Li won 20 women's singles titles: 19 ITF events and one on the WTA Tour. In January 2008, she won her second WTA Tour title following a 3-year drought. At the 2011 Australian Open, Li became Asia's first Grand Slam singles finalist.
