Lan Kwai Fong is a dining and entertainment destination in Hong Kong. When the night approaches it becomes a buzzing center for the collection of clubs, bars, and restaurants. This L-shaped lane is a perfect place for a night owl.

It started when a German-Canadian businessman moving to Hong Kong needed a western style restaurant. He opened 'California' in 1983 in Lan Kwai Fong. One year later, he bought a whole block and began a new business after the successful restaurant. This location developed into one of Hong Kong's most popular entertainment destinations for expatriates and tourists.
