Organized by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Live, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is a 3-day annual music and arts festival held in Indio, California. The festival not only features many genres of music including rock, indie, Hip Hop and electronic music, but also interesting large-scale artwork and sculpture. 2011 witnessed more than 100,000 people descending on Indio for the event. With its growth in size and acclaim, Goldenvoice announced that the festival will be held over two separate weekends, starting in 2012.
