The Dunhuang Museum, covering an area of 2,400 square meters, was established in 1979, with a collection of 4,000 historical relics. The exhibition's items include manuscripts from Cave 17 of the Mogao Grottoes, silk fabrics and other leftovers from history, especially those with traces of the Silk Road culture.
