The Lauder family
Estée Lauder is a widely known name in the cosmetic industry. Estée Lauder co-founded Estée Lauder Companies with her husband, Joseph Lauder, in 1946. In 1998, Lauder was the only woman on Time magazine's list of the 20 most influential business geniuses of the 20th century. As of July 2013, Estée Lauder Company had sales of more than $10 billion, and the company's value is estimated at over $28 billion.
