The number of animal species in the globe is decreasing every day due to natural and man-made damage. Some animal species are on the verge of extinction. Here are the top 10 most endangered animal species in the world:

As one of the most ancient fish species, the Chinese sturgeon has the habit of upstream migration. It is a large fresh water fish species native to China which has been dubbed the "panda in the water." Due to environmental pollution, and excessive fishing, there are very few Chinese sturgeon left.
