Located in the Caribbean, the Virgin Islands are formed by the British, US and Spanish Virgin Islands, consisting of over 100 islands and cays, only a few of which have inhabitants. One of the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. John, likes to keep a low tourism profile, aiming at upscale groups. The mountains here are covered with dense rain forests, an ideal place for a relaxed holiday.
