It's a tough job to be a doctor. It usually takes five years for medical students to complete their undergraduate program. Most of them will spend another three years on their graduate program, followed by a three-year residency training. If they pursue a better career, a doctor's degree is necessary.

After they become real doctors, they work as busy bees. High-pressure through the day and night will no doubt squeeze their time for rest, amusement and further education. Statistics show that 52.72 percent of Chinese doctors work 40-60 hours per week on average, 32.69 percent over 60 hours. A total of 39.98 percent of them can't enjoy annual leave. Many doctors suffer from cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, hyperlipemia and hepatic adipose infiltration.
