# Honghe Hani Rice Terrace National Wetland Park

Location: Honghe Haini and Yi autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province (Southwestern China)

The Honghe Hani Rice Terraces has a history of more than 1,300 years and covers an area of around 66,667 hectares. It stretches across four counties along the south bank of Honghe River and is an agro-ecological miracle created from thousands of years of farming activities. Approximately 13,000 hectares of rice terraces in the region have been included in the national wetland park.
