The three-volume tome "Chinese Science Fiction: An Oral History" was completed and published, with the Hugo Awards-nominated first volume introduced in December 2022 and the final two released at the 81st Worldcon in Chengdu last year. The three books chart the evolution of China's science fiction since the founding of the People's Republic of China, preserving these stories for future generations. Authored by Yang Feng, founder and CEO of the Chinese sci-fi brand Eight Light Minutes Culture, the series serves as a tribute to the genre. It acts as both a reference and a historical archive, aiming to keep notable Chinese tales from fading into obscurity and to salvage lost memories from aging elders and sci-fi luminaries, including those who have already passed away.
