The Maoling Mausoleum is located in Maoling Village of Nanwei Town, 40km north of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. The Maoling Mausoleum is the tomb of Emperor Wudi (156-87BC) of the Western Han Dynasty (206BC-9AD). The mausoleum was built in 155BC which took 53 years to complete. (more)
