Sanya holds promotion events in Phuket Island

A government delegation of Sanya, south China's Hainan province, carried out tourism promotion events on Phuket Island, Thailand, lately.
The government delegation explored multi-level cooperation possibilities with Phuket Island, such as opening new flight routes and finding new tourism market.
Sanya and Phuket both possess first-class tropical coastal tourism resources, common cultural customs and a good foundation for cooperation, said an official of Phuket.
In recent years, Sanya has expanded its international market, created high-quality tourism products and enhanced its reputation through various events, said an official of the Sanya government.
To facilitate international passengers' transportation, Sanya is considering opening new flight routes and building new tourism facilities, according to the official.
