A taste of Spain at Beijing food festival

Opened on Oct 15, the event features a different theme for each week. The focus of this week is the Alcázar of Segovia, a medieval castle in Castile and Leon, which is said to be the inspiration of The Queen's Castle in Disney's Snow White. Every Friday evening, visitors also will get to watch flamenco dancing, the famous Spanish performing art based on various folkloric music traditions originating in Southern Spain.


The annual feast is co-organized by the Minzu Hotel, the Spanish embassy in Beijing and the China Office of Tour Spain, affiliated with the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
