Sichuan announces new slogan for tourism promotion

The Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism announced the new slogan for the promotion of culture and tourism resources of Sichuan at a press conference on April 15.

The slogan in Chinese language ("天府三九大，安逸走四川")indicates Sichuan's three signature tourism attractions, namely, the Jiuzhai Valley national park, giant pandas and the Sanxingdui relic site, which bears testament to the long-running history of ancient Sichuan. It also emphasizes the leisurely lifestyle that tourists will be able to enjoy while travelling the province.

The press conference also released the new logo and promo video for the Culture and Tourism Development Conference of Sichuan Province.
