The following is a list of major shows, concerts, exhibitions and events in China for Tuesday:

-- "Titanic the Musical"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center, Beijing

The new production of the award-winning "Titanic the Musical" is based on the 1912 disaster, in which 1,517 men, women and children lost their lives as the RMS Titanic collided with an iceberg and sank on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York. The new work portrays the hopes and aspirations of 126 people aboard, showing how an accident completely changed thousands of people's lives.

By putting the spotlight on how different people respond to the disaster, the musical shows their love and bravery.

-- Drama "Revolutionary Road"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: Ningbo Grand Theatre, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province

The Chinese stage-version "Revolutionary Road" is adapted from American author Richard Yates' famous novel of the same name. Starring Chinese actor Sha Yi and actress Hu Ke, the play is set in America in the 1950s. It tells the story of a middle-class couple who tries to rid themselves of their dull and hopeless life but end up failing.

-- Musical "Chicago"

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Harbin Opera House, Harbin, Heilongjiang Province

Set in the legendary city during the Roaring 20s, "Chicago" tells the story of nightclub Star Velma and an ambitious chorus girl named Roxie, two murderers imprisoned in Cook County Jail. With the help of lawyer Billy Flynn, they finally escaped the death penalty and became "celebrity criminals."
