Beijing parks see 4.78 mln visitors in first four days of holiday

Parks in Beijing received 4.78 million visitors in the first four days of the ongoing eight-day national holiday, authorities said.
The traditional weeklong National Day holiday, which starts on Oct. 1, coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, stretching the holiday to eight days.
About 1.38 million visitors enjoyed the holiday in parks in Beijing on Sunday, according to the Beijing Gardening and Greening Bureau.
Beijing authorities have taken regular epidemic prevention and control measures to ensure a safe and orderly holiday.
