Beijing's northwestern Yanqing district held an "all-for-one" tourism development forum on December 24, aiming to boost local tourism brands and attract more related enterprises to settle in Yanqing.

Yanqing is home to a cluster of tourist attractions including the Great Wall at Badaling section, Wild Duck Lake, Longqing Gorge, Yudu Mountain and ancient cliff dwellings. It also features unique culture such as the intangible cultural heritage, the craft of hairy monkey figurines.

During the coming 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), Yanqing, one of the 2022 Winter Olympics venues, will make use of the world horticultural expo park, the 2022 Winter Olympics and the Great Wall to promote its "all-for-one" tourism. The district has seen an annual growth rate of 14 percent in tourism revenues from 2016 to 2019.

Yanqing is one of China's first batch of "all-for-one" tourism demonstration zones that integrate tourism resources for comprehensive development of the industry released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism last year.

According to China's guidelines to develop "all-for-one" tourism demonstration zones, a demonstration zone should have high standards of governance, extensive tourism products and services, and active public participation.

The concept of "all-for-one" tourism aims to meet the country's growing demand for tourism products and services and facilitate the economic transition.
