Events are being held in Hong Kong to promote the upcoming Shanghai 2010 World Expo.

Visiting officials from the National Tourism Administration and delegates from seven mainland municipalities, provinces and autonomous regions are involved.

The events, including one called "Expo Travel Night", will be held at an exhibition center, a commercial square, and in public throughout various communities.

They are designed to let Hong Kong residents know more about the Shanghai Expo. 2010 has been designated as China World Expo Travel Year, and many events and activities will be focusing on this theme.

As well as in Hong Kong, February and March saw promotional activities launched in about one hundred cities across the world.
