Pavilion Features

Visitors to Anhui Province's World Expo 2010 exhibition will be able to taste Anhui cuisine (Hui cai), one of the eight most famous cuisines in China, and enjoy a folk art extravaganza as well. Huangmei Opera and Huagudeng, a kind of dancing with handkerchiefs, drums and lanterns, are among the performances to be staged at the pavilion.Visitors will be led through Anhui's beautiful old streets and explore the success of Anhui merchants as well as its urban development. Anhui will showcase its culture and art to celebrate special Expo week from June 23 to 27. The province will also display 16 intangible cultural heritage crafts such as the production of Mo (Chinese solid ink) and Xuan paper as well as carving.
