The low-carbon concept prevails in the Shanghai World Expo. Facade design of pavilions in the World Expo Park presents characteristic low-carbon details in accordence with materials, functions and cultural backgrounds. Advanced scientific technology achievements, especially the recognition and efforts to realize the very issue of environmental protection, are utilized for the low-carbon facade designs.
