A U.S. designing company based in southern California said on Friday that two of the most popular pavilions it designed and produced have so far entertained more than 1.3 million visitors since the Expo 2010 opened in Shanghai, China on May 1.

The USA Pavilion welcomed its one-millionth visitor earlier this week, a staggering number of guests in such a short period of time that underscores the popularity of the pavilion, BRC Imagination Arts said in a press release.

The USA Pavilion, which hosts 35,000 guests per day, is one of the two pavilions conceptualized, designed and constructed by the Burbank-based company.

"Our goal was to conceptualize and bring to life an emotional, sensory experience that would capture the imagination of visitors to the USA Pavilion," said Greg Lombardo, BRC's Director of Brand Development.

The largest in the Expo history, the Shanghai event runs through Oct. 31.

As one of the most anticipated pavilions in the World Expo venue, the USA Pavilion combines visually stunning and deeply moving experiences to showcase American culture, values and innovation while celebrating the friendship and cooperation between the United States, China and the rest of the world.

The Information and Communications Pavilion, which is presented by China Mobile and China Telecom and welcomes an average of 12, 000 visitors daily, is another brainchild of BRC.

Featuring the world's first Multi-Dimensional Interactive Network, the pavilion combines state-of-the-art immersive digital media with personal interactive wireless network technologies and tactile ("4-D") special effects.

"Hosting more than 12,000 visitors per day, the Information and Communications Pavilion is certainly among the most popular corporate pavilions at the Shanghai World Expo," Christian Lachel, BRC vice president and ICP creative director, claimed.
