Make a wish in the Taiwan Pavilion
Tourists visit the sky lantern-shaped Taiwan Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo Site, August 10, 2010. The Taiwan Pavilion celebrated its 400,000th visitor on Tuesday. Most of the visitors have flown electronic sky lanterns, known as Kongming Lanterns in China, which are used to make wishes and pray for safety and happiness during festivals and celebrations in Taiwan.
