A traditional pageant from Brussels will be held in front of the Belgium-EU Pavilion from Saturday until next Wednesday.

It reenacts the entry of Holy Roman Emperor Charles V to Brussels in 1549. About 44 performers will dress in medieval costumes for the reenactment of the emperor's grand celebration.

Three sessions will be held every day. The pageant takes place annually in the Grand Place of the Belgian city. It was also performed at Expo 1958 in Brussels, Expo 1967 in Montreal, Canada, and Expo 1970 in Osaka, Japan.
