Papua New Guinea celebrates its National Pavilion Day today with a performance at Oceania Square.

The pavilion is located in the Pacific Pavilion and themed "Pacific — An Inspiration to Cities" in Zone B. Papua New Guinea shows its natural scenery and diverse folk culture on a huge "sail" combining ancient and modern elements.

The pavilion showcases urban life in harmony with nature and features tourism, wildlife and environmental protection. Traditional songs and dances dating back 3,000 years are performed regularly.
