Hong Kong's famous Police Band will perform throughout the week in the Expo site.

Formed in 1951, the Hong Kong Police Band has performed around the world.

Forty-eight musicians from its Silver Band and the Bagpipe Band will perform traditional military band music, Scottish dance and folk music and drum music.

It will be part of an innovative Chinese music ensemble — singing and a combination of band and bagpipes.

The Hong Kong Children's Chinese Opera will perform Cantonese Opera on the Baosteel Stage. The program includes an opera photo exhibition, a workshop on making elaborate hairpieces and a demonstration of opera makeup.

The troupe is comprised of young people who have taken the training program run by the Love and Faith Cantonese Opera Laboratory, directed by veteran artist Cheung Po-wah. The troupe has performed around the world.
