Nepali president leaves for China

Nepali President Ram Baran Yadav is leaving for a five-day goodwill visit to China on Tuesday to attend the closing ceremony of the Shanghai World Expo 2010.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, while in Shanghai, Yadav will meet with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. The President is also scheduled to visit Lhasa, Xi'an and Guangzhou.

Meanwhile, Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) Chairman Prachanda, who is currently on a China visit, is returning home on Tuesday.
