There was plenty more to engage attention.

Artists from all over the world performed more than 3000 public performances, attracting some 27 million spectators.

Diversified as their geographical locations may be, countries from five continents all dug into their traditions to impress expo visitors. The result was a pristine array of singing and dancing, adding a dash of color and vigor to the world expo.

Expo Visitor said, "I am so excited, as if I am in a carnival. I love it!"

Incredibly six hundred shows have been scheduled in the public squares, expo theatres and this newly-built expo performance center just behind me, making the expo the world's hottest stage this summer. The artists are making every effort to engage audience members during performances.

Even when it sometimes means to draw on your face. But what's the fun of it if you are not part of the action.

Visitor said,"These guys are great!"

Visitor said, "I absolutely love it...."

Visitor said, "I've seen body painting on TV and newspapers. It's artistic. "

Visitor said,"The energy went on all day, and picked up a more dynamic tone at night."

Street dancing from the Bronx, New York, drove the heat up further.

Visitor said, "The actors know how to jazz up the crowds."

Visitor said, "It's such a great night out."

The Shanghai Expo 2010 included an average of one hundred and twenty shows each day. More importantly, it gave all its visitors many memories they will always hold dear to their hearts.
