Hotel Nikko signs management contract in Guangzhou

The Guangzhou Ruiyin Cyberport Hospitality Company, JAL Hotels Company, and BTG-Nikko International Hotel Management Company just held a management signing ceremony for the Hotel Nikko in Guangzhou.

With representatives from Tianhe District and Guangzhou Municipality, the hotel owner, the JHC and the BTG-Nikko gathered at the Garden Hotel Guangzhou to sign a number of agreements. Those included a hotel management deal, license agreement, pre-opening services agreement, reservation services contract, and a marketing program agreement.

Hotel Nikko will be built to five-star hotel standards with total investment of more than CNY500 million. It plans to have 400 luxury rooms durind its first stage of construction, and targets to open in March 2010. It is the ninth chain hotel for the company in Greater China, and the 65th member of Hotel Nikko as of June 2008.

As a new member of the Nikko Hotels International, Guangzhou Ruiyin Cyberport Hospitality Company General Manager Oscar Zhang said, "As owner, we would cherish the name and the relationship with JAL, BTG-Nikko and the Hotel Nikko brand, which has the same oriental background of culture and tradition with us. The business management company of JHC and BTG-Nikko, is a strategic cooperation between JHC and the biggest tourist group in China, BTG. It is a model of internationalized hotel management and development in China. We are honored and confident to cooperate and work well with the colleagues appointed by the JHC and BTG-Nikko, and be a good, and responsible owner of the hotel."
