Yinchuan opens nonstop flight to Shanghai
Adjust font size:

To meet the demand during the Olympic Games, Yinchuan Hedong Airport will open a nonstop route from Yinchuan to Shanghai Pudong International Airport from August 9, 2008.

There will be five flights a week operated by China Eastern Airlines on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. The flight starts from Shanghai at 15:00, and arrives at Yinchuan at 18:00; the return flight departs from Yinchuan at 18:40, arriving at Shanghai at 21:10.

At present, Yinchuan Hedong Airport had three transfer flights via Xi'an on the Yinchuan-Shanghai route, starting at 8:20, 17:35 and 21:05 everyday. The new nonstop service will save about 40 minutes compared to flights requiring a transfer.
