Shenzhen airlines has established its own hotel management company to take over full management of Jin Jiang Shenzhen Airline Hotel from Shanghai Jin Jiang. The hotel is an investment of Shenzhen Airlines and opened in January 2005 as the first five-star standard hotel in the Chegongmiao area of Futian District in Shenzhen and the first hotel that Shanghai Jin Jiang managed in Shenzhen.

According to local media, Shenzhen Airlines signed a second management agreement for Jin Jiang Shenzhen Airline Hotel with Shanghai Jin Jiang, which will expire in January 2009. Shenzhen Airlines took over full management of the hotel from the end of this May, but the hotel still maintains the Jin Jiang brand and will be renamed after the management agreement ends next year.
