Construciton of a new five-star standard resort has commenced in Shuicheng, Qingdao, Shandong.

The project has a planned investment of US$100 million from two Australian companies. It is located at the Eastern Resorts Area of Lingshanwan Tourism Resort Area, and covers an area of about 58 mu with a total construction area of 90,000 square meters. The hotel will have 350 guest rooms, and is positioned as a high-end resort hotel combining residence, leisure, and entertainment facilities. It is scheduled to be opened on May 1, 2010.

At present, the resort area in Shuicheng district, Qingdao has attracted more than ten four- and five-star hotel projects.
