First doubletree by Hilton in China opens

Hilton Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Doubletree by Hilton Huaqiao, Kunshan–the first Doubletree by Hilton branded hotel in East China.

The newly built, 398-room hotel is located in the hotel is located between Shanghai and Suzhou–regarded as two of China's top five economies. Situated along the main expressway that connects Shanghai and Suzhou, the Doubletree by Hilton is near to Shanghai's two major airports and is close to Shanghai Automobile City and China's Formula 1 racing circuit.

According to Dave Horton, Doubletree Hotels' senior vice president for brand management the ultimate goal at Doubletree is to create positive, long-lasting memories for their guests so that they will develop a strong emotional bond and loyalty with the brand for their future travel.

Guest rooms are equipped with smart workspaces and seating areas; high-speed Internet access; an LCD, flat panel TV; a personal safe; and complimentary in-room coffee and tea service. Executive Floor rooms and suites will feature additional amenities, as well as access to an Executive Club lounge which serves breakfast every morning and hosts a specialized reception each afternoon and evening.

The new hotel offers comprehensive conference facilities with a more than 2,500-square-meter conference center equipped with numerous conference rooms. Seven functional halls surround an 850 square meter column-free grand ballroom which has easy access for large event set up to support the local automotive manufacturing and race communities. All conference rooms provide broadband internet access with advanced audio visual equipment and well-trained support staff.

For recreation, Doubletree by Hilton Huaqiao, Kunshan guests have access to the brand's signature Doubletree Fitness by Precor facilities.
