Huashi Building (Huashilou)

Built in 1930, it originally was a villa of a Russian aristocrat and was later sold to a British businessman. After 1949, the building was used as a reception facility. As it is built of granite and pebbles, it is called after Huashi Building (花石楼).

Huashi Building is the most famous and most representative architecture of Badaguan Scenic Area. 

The building is the most famous and most representative architecture of Badaguan Scenic Area because of its unique appearance. Located along the eastern stretches of No.2 Bathing Beach, it combines Roman and Greek architectural styles as well as the Gothic style. Thick stands of pine trees and manicured gardens surround the mansion making a perfect setting for a leisurely walk.

This place had been used for the reception of domestic and foreign guests since 1949.
