The brand value of Tsingtao Beer (600600.SH) continued to top other domestic beer brands with 50.2 billion yuan (US$8 billion) in 2011, according to a recent annual report of 2011 released by the company.
The report shows that the company registered nearly 23.16 billion yuan of annual revenue and 1.74 billion yuan of net profits for the company stockholders in 2011, up 16.38 percent and 14.3 percent respectively year-on-year.
In 2011, the company sold 3.99 million kilolitres of beer, increasing by 23 percent from a year earlier.
The company plans to expand its production capacity and seek proper acquisition targets this year in a bid to raise its market share.
