The first Chinese Traditional Food Festival Qingdao will kick off on Apr. 29 in the city's Fengtianhui Square, according to the municipal cultural authority.

The festival will run from Apr. 29 to May 6. Diverse recreational activities will be staged during the festival, including folk art performances rich in local flavor, dance performance and photographic exhibitions.
