China.org.cn, June 5, 2012 Print E-mail

The second Qingdao Licang Tea Cultural Tourist Festival kicks off on June 1, at Licun Park in Qingdao, a coastal city of Shandong province.

Supported by four major tea wholesale markets, the six-day festival features a tea exhibition, several tea ceremonies and an auction of famous tea varieties.

The commercial and industrial authorities of Licang district in Qingdao have signed an agreement with the four tea markets regarding strict product quality assurance. In this way, they hope to build their credibility and authority as well as protect the consumer's legitimate rights and interests.

The festival will host various large-scale tea tastings to draw publicity.
