The executive committee of Qingdao World Horticultural Exposition 2014 recently revealed a plan to file an application to state authorities for intellectual property protection of the expo's Chinese and English full names and short name as well as its emblems.

The committee also released a program to build a horticultural center in the expo park to show botanic development history and gardening culture.
