The coastal city of Qingdao, a well-known international tourist destination in eastern China, recently launched two standard one-day city tour itineraries, aiming to improve local tourism services, according to the municipal tourist administration.

Initiated by the administration, the Qingdao City Construction and Investment Group and several local tourist attractions, the new itineraries include one-day tours of the Olympic Sailing Center and Laoshan Mountain as well as a one-day tour of Qingdao’s seaside.

With an IC-card ticket, visitors are able to enter all attractions included in the one-day tour itineraries and take the city sightseeing bus line 1 for free within 48 hours.

The investment company’s Vice General Manager Jia Yongfeng said the two itineraries have incorporated the city's must-see attractions in a bid to show visitors local most picturesque and representative local attractions.

In addition, the city is set to launch more DIY itineraries suitable for two-day, three-day and night-time tours.
