Qingdao service trade exceeds 180 billion

The Qingdao service trade has exceeded 180 billion yuan (US$30 billion), accounting for 50.1 percent of Shandong Province, according to Department of Commerce of Shandong Province.

Among these numbers, export reached US$15.35 billion and import US$15.41 billion, increasing by 47.8 percent and 40.4 percent respectively.

In addition, the service trade accounted for 28.3 percent of the total foreign trade, increasing by nearly 6 percent year-on-year.

Transit trade reached US$25.64 billion, accounting for 83.3 percent of the city's service trade. Transportation related service revenue was US$1.39 billion, accounting for 10.3 percent. Revenue from other services came to US$496 million, including tourism, construction and insurance.
