Last year, Qingdao had introduced 117,012 talents of all kinds, including 1,182 doctors and senior professional titled talents, 11,216 deputy senior professional titled and superior skilled talents, accounting for 11.6% of the total talents. Qingdao had reformed the system and mechanism of the talent work according to the developing needs of the blue, high-end and emerging industries to attract a great number of talents. The reform and innovation improved the attraction of Qingdao. Until now, there are more than 1.44 million talents in Qingdao, including 51 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering.
The ‘Qingdao Talent Center’ was built and started working on August 20th 2014 for enterprises, university graduates, professional and technical personnel, overseas returnees and foreign experts, which shows that Qingdao has broken the department division and realized the goal of one-step external service.
