Jimo to invest 30 billion to build a trade city

Reports have learned from the Bureau of Commerce of the city that Jimo is planning to build the largest international trade city with a leading role in economy. According to the plan, the total planning area of the Jimo International Trade City is 35 square kilometers with an investment of 30 billion yuan.

The trade city consists of six parts: garment market, small-commodities market, Chinatex United International Trade City, Fuxing Trade City, Qingdao International Garment and business district in front of Qingrong Interurban Railway Station. The trade city is expected to be completed in 2017 and the annual business transaction will be about 100 billion yuan.

In the Jimo Small Commodity Market, an area of 60,000 square meters will be used to sell fashion products and featured products from Italy, Korea, Japan, Germany, Israel and Argentina. The trade city will become the largest logistics center of foreign and domestic goods and the tourism shopping center of China.
