The opening ceremony of the 25th Tsingtao International Beer Festival will kick off at the West Coast Square, Qingdao, a coastal city of east China's Shandong province, on August 7, 2015.

West Coast Square, the largest beer square in China, covers an area of 66.7 hectares. The design for this square is based on the ideas of blue, ecology and sustainability.

The square features grand beer tent area, beer garden street area, central performance area, entertainment area and camp area.

China's Tsingtao beer, the Netherlands' Heineken beer and Denmark's Carlsberg have set up their stalls at the grand beer tent area and the beer garden street.

People can not only taste cool beer brought from all over the world, but also enjoy a variety of cultural activities such as fancy car parade.
