Chinese Automotive Technology and Research Center and the People's Government of Jimo City signed an agreement on overall strategic cooperation recently and the work department of center settled down in Qingdao, marking the multi-level and all-round cooperation between the center and Jimo city will be profound and comprehensive.

The center will depend on Jimo, a city of automobile industry, and an integrated automobile industry chain to extend the technical service of automobile chain and offer better service to the sustain and innovative development of Qingdao automobile industry.

The center was established in 1985 as a dependent and justice automobile institution subordinate to State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. While Jimo city has been developing rapidly in automobile industry with the whole industrial cluster of research and development, manufacture and service.

The work department of center in Qingdao will work on automobile and parts, motorcycle and parts, inspection and detection of electronics and automobile technical consulting.
