Located in Yixian County, Lucun Village was built in the late a South Tang Dynasty, giving it a thousand-year history. Hundreds of visitors are attracted to the village each day by its beautiful views and more than 140 well-preserved ancient houses, among which magnificent woodcarving buildings are celebrated. Most characteristic of the ancient culture are the Hui-style dwelling house groups with wood carvings that show the brilliant skills of craftsmen of Anhui, located mainly in seven halls, such as Siji Hall, Sicheng Hall and Zhicheng Hall.

Special features: ancient dwelling houses and wood carving houses.

Admission: 28 yuan

How to get there: Take a bus to Hongcun Village at Yixian County (2 yuan) and then walk about 20 minutes to reach Lucun Village, or take a minivan costing 2 yuan.

Tips: You may drop by Luncun Village, one kilometer north, after visiting the world cultural heritage site of Hongcun Village.
