Located in Minqing County of Fujian province, Bandong Village is famous for its unique style ancient residential homes. Furthermore, it owns many unique buildings, such as Qianshang Liuye Ancestral Hall, Bandong Zhongxian Ancestral Hall and Guangde Temple, which embody its deep culture. In addition, its landscape is also attractive, with the famous Wutai peak, blue waters and hot springs.

Admission: 25 yuan for Honglincuo and 10 yuan for Silexuan, 10 yuan for Liuye Ancestral Hall, free during summer vacation.

How to get there: 1. It is a 45-minute drive from Fuzhou City; buses and private taxies available between attractions in Bandong Town;

                            2. Minqing station-Shenghuang Town direct bus route, start off every 5 minutes, 5 yuan.

Tips: 1. Many cheap hotels are available in the town. For better ones, you may choose to stay in downtown Minqing County;

         2. Be sure to visit "Shiba Ban", the most famous folk fair held during from the 17th to the 19th day of the first month of the lunar year, which has a history of more than 180 years.
