Luxury Top Show kicks off in Nanjing

The Luxury Top Show has opened in Nanjing, displaying items valued at over 500 million yuan. Zhou Xiaoye finds out what's on display.
This is an Aston Martin DBS, the vehicle used by James Bond. It is considered by many to be the most beautiful car in the world, with a price tag of 3.6 million yuan.
This vehicle is called Spyker, built by hand in the Netherlands. It's the only one in Asia, fetching a price of more than 6 million yuan.
A Harley-Davidson Motorcycle is also on display, costing more than an average car.
Expensive jewelry has also caught the eye of many visitors.
Shi Yuanying, GM of Davidseno said "Let's use this carbuncle necklace as an example. It uses tiny inlays, which are done with a 40 times' magnifier. The carbuncle is from Myanmar. This is one of the best in the world, and it costs two to three million yuan."
Alexander company is a brand with a 70 year old history. Hair accessories can cost more than ten thousand yuan.
Staff of Alexander Co. said "This was made for the Miss World competition by our chief designer. It has more than 1,000 inlayed crystals. The whole piece is made by hand, and it costs more than 2 million yuan."
More than 30 of the world's top brands are taking part in this year's show in Nanjing, bringing in more than 200 luxury items.
The Luxury Top Show was first held in Monaco, and was introduced to China in 2005. The China Top Show has been held nine times, in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. This is the first time the show has been held further inland.
After the global financial crisis struck, luxury good markets were hit hard in the West and Japan. Sales volumes have dropped by one third. But the Chinese Mainland's appetite for luxury goods remains strong, especially in Shanghai and southern China. The country has now surpassed Japan to become the world's second largest luxury goods market after the U.S.
