On the beach where the Pliosaur skull was found, fossil hunters are looking for their own prehistoric treasures. One young fossil enthusiast happily showed off his prize.
Harry Hoare, a fossil hunter, said, "It looks like a snail, a dead snail, and we found it over in the rocks over there."
The giant Pliosaur fossil has been bought by Dorset County Council for 20,000 pounds with money from the Heritage Lottery Fund. After it has been scientifically analyzed and prepared, it will go on display at the County Museum.
