The three major holidays of Christmas, New Year's Day and Spring Festival, represent the high season for China's film industry. One of the most anticipated movies this year is "Bodyguards and Assassins". In Beijing on Monday, 13 leading actors and actresses met the media to discuss the film.

The action-packed blockbuster "Bodyguards and Assassins" was directed by Teddy Chan and features an all-star cast including Donnie Yen, Leon Lai and Nicholas Tse. It tells the story of a group of bodyguards who protect Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the forerunner of the Chinese Democratic Revolution, from assassins in 1905 Hong Kong.

Producer Peter Chan is confident "Bodyguards and Assassins" will emerge triumphant at the box office over the festive period.

Peter Chan said, "I think that nothing is impossible in the box office in the Chinese film market now. As long as it's a good movie and the timing of the release is right, then nothing is impossible for us."
