Last month Taiwan singer Dick and Cowboy had his solo concert at Beijing Workers' Gymnasium. He performed new arrangements of his hit songs "Let the Love Be", "Do You Know I'm Waiting For You?" and "Will You Love Me Again"... which caused the packed house to sing along. He also showcased five new songs including "Who Do You Love Tomorrow" and "Dark Dark Sky".

Few people knows his real name, but besides Dick and Cowboy, he also has another nickname, Old Daddy. He started his on-stage career when he was 25 years old. And it was not until he was 40 that he finally got his big break. He always says that it took a thousand frustrations to make today's Dick and Cowboy.

His solo concerts in Asia are sold out within a couple of hours, and his songs are some of the top singles for karaoke. His success has branded him a"Taiwan Legend" by the local entertainment industry.

Leaving his home town of Kaohsiung in Southern Taiwan in 1998, Dick and Cowboy took ten years to fulfill his musical dreams. For the first years, he was famous for making cover songs, but he gradually had composers and lyricists writing songs for him. He thinks he is much like the sand blowing in the wind, never stopping... just continuing on.

In 1999, Dick and Cowboy released his first Mandarin album "Forget Me or Forget Him". The title song and another hit from the album "Thirty Thousand Feet" were chart toppers for that year and Dick and Cowboy has been a phenomenon ever since.
